The lawmakers wrote Attorney General Eric Holder on Wednesday to express concern that millions of voters do not have a government-issued ID - particularly older people, racial minorities, low-income voters and students.

I call BS.

No kidding.
Let’s solve this by making the Social Security card be a photo ID.

Elderly are probably on SS and have a government issued SS card.

Also, even when my kids were born in late 90’s early 00’s we were required to fill out a SS# application before we even left the hospital. That should cover all the student age people, regardless of race or income.

It’s racist for them to assume that racial minorities and low income people are incapable of getting a SS card.

Even without investigating, I would assure you that a student ID is a requirement at any university. Isn’t a student ID a “government-issued ID”?
