We just had one utter incompetent quit because he felt unappreciated. I mentored him as best I could, because he was a nice guy and he truly wanted to learn, but he just wouldn’t/couldn’t listen. I got to where I was having him repeat everything back to me, and what came out of his mouth was nothing like what went into his ears.

That’s a shame, when you consider how eager he was. Because he was a nice guy, I’m sure you wish him the best and hope he lands on his feet, but there’s only so long that can go on...
