Harvard long ago sold its corporate soul to the Devil.

Of course they are.

Leftists hate flags and celebrations of our holidays that celebrate the greatness of the United States of America and our exceptionalizm.

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY TO US CONSERVATIVE RIGHT WING NUTZ!

>> “Fourth of July celebrations in the United States shape the nation’s political landscape by forming beliefs and increasing participation, primarily in favor of the Republican Party,” said the report from Harvard

I have no problem with that statement.

If Liberty fits, celebrate it. Boom! Boom!

I went to a 4th of July parade in a small town in Indiana. Besides the marching bands and local officials riding in cars waving to the crowds, there was a float from the republican party, complete with an elephant, and a gasp, democratic float with a kicking donkey. Both got applause as they passed by. Then again, small town Indiana democrats are rather conservative.

July 4th kicks May 1st’s butt and rubs it’s nose in the litter box. ;^)

Well it’s time to get rid of this “Holiday”.

Now pay your taxes - the Ruling Class needs a raise. :)

“If Liberty fits, celebrate it. Boom! Boom!”

I’m in Kandahar and I am the only American in a tent with about 28 TCN’s (Third country nationals). The TCN’s represent Uganda, Nepal, India, Sri Lanka and the Philipines. I was approached by them and they were wondering, with some excitement, whether I was going to celebrate the 4th of July.....I said of course....they smiled about that.

There just won’t be the Boom! Boom! though.

Unless of course the Taliban makes themselves known...”And the rockets’ red glare, the bombs bursting in air, Gave proof thro’ the night that our flag was still there.”!

The three key findings of those attending July 4th celebrations:

* When done before the age of 18, it increases the likelihood of a youth identifying as a Republican by at least 2 percent.
* It raises the likelihood that parade watchers will vote for a Republican candidate by 4 percent.
* It boosts the likelihood a reveler will vote by about 1 percent and increases the chances they'll make a political contribution by 3 percent.

Social probability studies with inferences this low shouldn't even be considered worthy of publication, let alone relevant to conclude any kind of statistical social anomaly. Notwithstanding that these studies are pretty much useless as it is, this particular study is especially useless.

“Gave proof thro’ the night that our flag was still there.”!

And thank you SO much for defending it! We appreciate your service and bravery more than you know.

God bless you and keep you safe to return home soon, Puckster.

(And Happy Fourth of July! ;-)

Harvard is a sewage plant in reverse. Relatively cleanliness comes in, only sewage leaves.

csense: “Notwithstanding that these studies are pretty much useless as it is, this particular study is especially useless.”

Nevertheless, it sure can’t hurt to celebrate the 4th! Taking a child to a 4th of July parade has GOTTA be better than taking them to a gay pride parade, eh? Celebrate the 4th! Who knows? You might just end up creating a conservative!

News from the land of Duh.

*grin*

It also promotes lawlessness in the form of shooting off fireworks...

When I see hundreds of cottages around the lake shooting stuff off to the delight of children, while giving the govt the finger.......it brings a tear to my eye...

I usually sleep through the rocket attacks. At Bagram, I slept through the fighter engine run-ups which included the afterburner's.....it would really rocked the tents....nice massage....if I recall.
