I assume he'll be playing "the Perot" to pull Tea Party votes from the Republican nominee.

Don't doubt it. Just look at the vote in NY-26th last month. A man who ran on the Dem ticket 3 times previous signed up as the "tea-party" candidate, running on the "I'm angry with both parties!" platform. It took months to educate voters that his candidacy was a fraud - but the 8% that he pulled was enough to give what should have easily been a Republican seat to a Democrat - who didn't even live in the district!!!
