I understand, but the very definition of being a Christian is having Jesus as your lord. Why make it a point to not call yourself a Christian if you believe in their creeds?
Well, to be honest, it’s because of the homosexual priest issue, and the incident of an episcopalian priest attempting to kiss me at a mass one night many years ago that has turned me off from practicing religion, but it has not affected my faith.
I don’t want to rehash all of this, because I have talked about it in another thread, but as always, I’ll say that the choice of allowing homosexuals in postions of authority can have prfound consquences on the lives of people who don’t deserve to be preyed upon as they attempt to worhship.
As a result, I do not support and will not support anyone or any church who does this knowingly.
