(Perry) one of the strands in the web of international conspiracy for those who see a stealth plan to merge the United States with Canada and Mexico.

You gotta be kidding me. Perry - international conspirator.

Rick Perry wanted to build 4,000 miles of mega-highway over a million and half acres of prime, productive Texas farmland.

Wow, 4,000 miles! Texas is big but it's hardly 4,000 miles from Laredo to the Oklahoma border.

BTW, have you ever been to a public meeting and had someone try to take over the meeting for their own agenda and accuse an entire panel of people of being liars. Talk about a conspiracy nut. That's Terri Hall. The woman who never saw a new highway she didn't hate or a media camera she didn't love.

So much to refute, so little time.

The highway /distance mileage is likely measured by both directions, not just northbound lanes.

Yeah, from Seattle to Miami (not taking a direct line) it is 3,334 miles. Direct line would be less. In fact, from no where in Texas can you go 4,000 miles and still be in the US unless you keep driving in circles.

McAllen to Caribou, Me is 2,585 mi and McAllen to Seattle is 2,359. The biggest problem I had with the TTC is we already have I35 going through San Antonio, Dallas, OKC, Wichita, KC, Des Moines, and Minneapolis. I10, I20, I30, I40, and I70 intersect it, taking the route to LA, Pheonix, New Orleans, Mobile, Jacksonville, Jackson, Birmingham, Atlanta, Little Rock, Memphis, NAshville, Denver, Topeka, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Columbus, Pittsburgh, DC, and Baltimore. With all of those stops based off of 35, I think we already had a TTC.

I know the big reason we heard in commercials on WBAP were that the TTC would transport “Mexican” trucks, and so we shouldnt like it. But we are already shipping a lot from Mexico now.
