You probably already know this, but Lennon wasn’t a boomer, and boomers had already helped reelect Nixon in 1972 with the majority of their vote.

Most of the Boomers I know didn’t have a moment of clarity until Carter. I was unaware of them voting overwhelmingly for Nixon in ‘72.
