Anthony Weiner's wife is taking time off from her senior job with the State Department -- as well as time off from the randy former representative, The Post has learned.
While Weiner, 46, heads to an "intensive" rehab program to recover from the sexting scandal that cost him his congressional career, his 35-year-old spouse, Huma Abedin, will be relaxing at an undisclosed location.
"She is definitely taking time off away from her husband and chilling," a source said. "And he's going some place for at least a couple of weeks."

My thoughts exactly. She'll probably fall down a flight of stairs and have a 'traumatic' abortion/miscarriage. That's what always happens in the Spanish language telenovelas. I think she was planning a power couple career a la Bill & Hillary. Now she has to go to plan B, whatever that may be.
She’s taking time off from weiner alright. Except for Madame H’s Terminator 2000, of course.

I’m betting the news will be that she “miscarried” — but not as a euphamism for “abortion”. I doubt that she ever was pregnant. They just floated that phony pregnancy in a desperate attempt to gain sympathy. It didn’t work; now it’s safe for her to “miscarry”.

You may well be right and I agree she may not be pregnant. Nothing these folks do is a surprise anymore.
Weiner made two trips to London to speak to Huma’s brother before they got engaged.
There is no way a Jewish man marries a devout Muslim woman without converting.
Weiner gave up liquor and “celebrates” Ramadan with her as a sign of respect.
I am 100% sure she was never preg. Most likely never did anything that could have resulted in conception, either.
Yes, it is a horrible thought but one that a prudent person might consider.

Perhaps I am being too conspiratorial, but the timing of the rumor that she was pregnant is suspect. It seemed to me this was a last ditch effort to generate sympathy for Weiner. Must not say bad things about him, because it will hurt his pregnant wife! (as if he is not the cause of this!)
I’m going one step further. What if she comes back from this getaway and announces that she had a miscarriage? Congressman Sleaze would attempt to say this was a result of the attacks on him.
As far as I know, she has never said she is pregnant. It started as a rumor. Now everything written about either one of them mentions her pregnancy as if it were an established fact.
How could I be so suspicious? I mean, it’s not as if Democrats lie or anything!
The cause will be "stress brought on by actions of those hateful Republicans." Boener will publicly apologize while crying.
