I heard Perry give a speech at a luncheon soon after he became Governor. At the time, I thought he was a really boring speaker. He seems to have improved greatly.

And with quotes like this...

"Just because the federal government happens to be rudderless at the moment, it doesn't mean the American people have lost their way,"

...his message is simple and profound. Well said, Guv.

And GOOD point about the “simple and memorable” comment. Those are what people remember — they stick.
