It seems like only yesterday that Hungary was, by force, an enemy. It’s great to see this kind of freedom in action.

From the article: “It’s better to have two Ronald Reagan statues than none at all,” said Marton Baranyi, co-creator of a Hungarian website dedicated to Reagan. “Reagan is a role model for Hungarians.” - ‘Nuff said.

Niiice! Thanks. Makes me proud. I miss him.
From the site:
“We Hungarians have nothing to do with Reagan,” the Hungarian Communist Workers Party said in a statement. “During his life, he served not our interests but those of ‘American Big Capital’ bent on ruling the world.”
Even though they think you gotta quote a toad, at least they identified the croaker as communist filth. Somewhat more transparent than our useless msm.

Some do get it. What a terrific gesture to a man who did so much to bring down crushing oppression to Eastern Europe. I see Condi was there at the dedication.
I have said...on more than one occasion...that if this country is stupid enough to re-elect this madman or another one like him, I’m going to head to Hungary, the Czech Republic or Poland. They know and understand what it is like..and I doubt it will ever haopen there again. At least in my lifetime.

Reagan "changed the world and created a new world for Central Europe," Orban said at the unveiling ceremony. "He tore down the walls which were erected in the path of freedom in the name of distorted and sick ideologies." I'm sure many people have noticed the trend where former Soviet satellite states take freedom more seriously that most people in the United States. They know the tyranny of communism.
The really sad thing is that people here are not grateful to have a leader like Ronald Maximus. He was a true visionary.

The Hungarians have been there and do get it. We’re going there voluntarily and obliviously.
