I spent a few months in Frisco back in the mid 80s. It was fine but it wasn’t home. I liked pretty much everyone I met but I missed the dense woods, swamps, and lakes a lot.

Texas was too open for me but I dated a girl from Oklahoma who said Michigan made her claustrophobic because she couldn’t see the horizon.

Ditto for me. I love to visit other places for a week or two - Seattle & the Olympic Peninsula are tw of my favorites - but I can't wait to get back to Texas and my wide open view. My property actually has lots of trees so I can't see the horizon from it, but I can when I'm driving around town.
