"The first question at a morning rally came from a woman who wanted to know if media reports of divisions between the two tea party darlings are true.""Darlings"? Seriously? I think it was a fitting and accurate answer considering the context in which the question was asked. However, I'd like to hear the question asked and her response before making a final judgement.

Extra dumb statement that will be used to diminish both her and Sarah by the time it's over with.
The MSM and late night dipsh*ts will have fun the next couple of days.

Oh No. I see a new SNL skit in the works... Yes. That's precisely what I thought of, too.
I'll bet they're working on it right now. It's only Wednesday. It'll be on this weekend. Someone's planned skit is going to be cut to make room for it.

Politico is merely another Soros-funded MSM outlet, like HuffPo and the mainstream media.
Everything is to deflect from Obama’s utter disasterous policies and take swipes at the Conservatives.

Bachmann seems to be working on being our Biden.
WELL, WHY NOT?
She's running for VP.

Diminish exactly. Girls/mud wrestling/sticking together? - what was she thinking as a candidate for the highest office in the land?

I must be missing something, it seems like a good comment to moi. Well, so far, this thread is about 5:1 in favor of your opinion.

Yes, it is a true comment. Why is it wrong to tell the truth?
To: Steely Tom
Not a good comment. Why not? It's true. There definitely is a double standard in politics when it comes to conservative women and Bachmann is only pointing that out. It comes from the media, the left AND the right. I'm willing to bet that this thread will contain many sexist comments towards those two (married) women. No class.

She played right into the hands of the MSM and rabid left for no reason.
She hurt the image of conservatives and Sarah.
I have not been commenting about her since the Rollins fiasco, but this was as stupid as stupid can be.

Michelle is correct. Men are men (sigh) and no matter how serious the conservative man might be, in the back of his mind, he wouldnt mind seeing two really beautiful women, like Michelle and Sarah, mud wrestling. The metrosexual lefty men would probably rather see more photos of Anthony Weiner. Real men do not lust for or ogle married women.

Why not? It's true. There are lots of true statements that are, nonetheless, not appropriate for a candidate for President of the United States to utter.
There are a lot of true statements posted here at Free Republic that would not be helpful to us if they were repeated by Michele Bachmann, or Sarah Palin. Or Herman Cain, for that matter.

I did not say there was a feud. I said rumor of a feud. Can you deny that Ed Rollins is responsible for giving people the impression there is one?
I used to donate to Bachmann until I tired of baing badgered by her “telemarketing hounds from hell” and I agree with Michele on 90% of the issues. But, the sad truth is that her resume is no thicker than Obama’s was in 2007 (no executive experience, less than five years in Congress, has never introduced a bill that became law and never even chaired a committee or sub-committee) plus six chiefs-of-staff in her first four years.
When someone asks you to name a Bachmann accomplishment (other than getting elected to Congress), you start looking for an exit line.

Bachmann wishes she could fight at all. Palin would have her tied into a pretzel in the first 10 seconds...

No.
There used to be a lot of “swoon” threads until the moderators got in the habit of deleting them.
The locker room mentality runs through both sexes.
