John Wayne was from Winterset, Iowa. It was a stupid mistake, but not the biggest mistake ever made.

That said, she REALLY needs to watch her step from here on out and stop with the stupid mistakes if she expects to be taken seriously.

This is merely a result of the real problem, which is candidates feeling like they have to suck up to Iowans.

Why Iowa is always the first state to vote is beyond me.

I will support the first candidate that has the balls to call for an end to the Iowa/New Hampshire two-step, rather than participating in it.

So far, the reaction might not be as bad as we feared.

I have tried several searches for “Michele Bachmann” throughout the day on Google News.

http://news.google.com/nwshp?hl=en&q=michele%20bachmann

An hour ago, they didn’t have hardly anything on it. Now it is their second leading thread, plus the Google people have put a nice little box at the top of the search results page with the infamous quote:

“Well what I want them to know is just like, John Wayne was from Waterloo, Iowa. That’s the kind of spirit that I have, too”

So far, the MSM attacks are not as severe as I thought they were going to be.

She also did a piss poor job of defending her statement that Barack Obama was "anti-American" when she appeared on "Face the Nation" with Bob Schieffer. SHE DID A PITIFUL JOB AND DID NOT EXPLAIN IT AT ALL!!
I'm starting to think this woman is too gaffe prone to be taken seriously. I get nervous as hell when she's being interviewed; not knowing what the hell she's gonna say next that is stupid.
RUN SARAH; RUN!!!
