(CNN) -- Prosecutors dismissed a charge Monday against a community activist who was arrested while filming a police encounter with her iPod camera because she was concerned it was initiated by racial profiling.
"I'm feeling vindicated, I'm feeling energetic" Emily Good, 28, of Rochester, New York, said of the decision to have the charge dropped. Good had been charged with obstruction of governmental administration when she began videotaping the interrogation of a black man by three white officers in front of her house on May 12, she said.
"Based upon the evidence, we could not make out the elements of the crime charged," Monroe County First Assistant District Attorney Sandra Doorley said.
Good said she intends to file a civil suit.

I would expect nothing less than you throwing in with a commie agitator who is protesting against “racial profiling” of some kind. You need a checkup from the neck up.
>>Hope the cop keeps his job<<
Where do you idiot bootlickers COME from?
You want citizens harrassed and/or imprisoned for their political beliefs.
Duly noted.
You are on the wrong continent, in the wrong decade. You belong in early 1930s Eastern Europe.
Please tell me you’re not an American, because that would be a crying shame.

I'd love to be a fly on this wall when these three meet.
She had a right to film no doubt. The officer should have just tried to talk with her about keeping a safe distance for everyone there, including her.
Let’s keep in mind that she went out there specifically because she thought that three white cops should not have been talking to a black guy, a black guy they arrested for some reason. She went out there to stir up the whole racial profiling BS.
Wonder if she is as quick on the camera when the local flash mob is breaking into cars and beating old people down...
lol... you haven’t got the barest clue what real fascism and real police oppression is. These lefty activists are prima donnas and their freeper supporters are not much better
Probably the best thing to do, for the cops, is for one to keep his eye on the filmer to ensure that is all that is happening is film being taken.

You got it! She’s a sniveling little agitator community organizer just the way Obama started out
I agree, dead. It is ASTOUNDING to me the colossal stupidity of those who obviously have no concept of liberty from government oppression.
dennisw actually believes and says out loud, with apparently no shame, that the woman should lose her civil rights, be forcibly removed from her property whoile committing NO CRIME, and lose her freedom via incarceration, because he doesn’t like the way she or her “boyfriend” THINKS?!?!?! (hello “Thought Crime”),
And the way the boyfriend “sounded” on a radio talk show???
He has a true jackboot mindset. That’s what we fought WWII to defeat.
UN. FRICKIN. BELIEVEABLE. from someone who (I guess) proudly calls himself a “Freeper”???
Disgraceful.
Why would a camera make someone more likely to pull out a gun?
Project much?
Just watched the video. The cop belongs in prison, as do the other cops on the scene who did not stop him.
And this is coming from someone who is very strongly pro-cop, pro law and order, anti-liberal loon.
The woman did nothing wrong and was very polite. The bad cop was rude and violated her rights.
He is also either a liar or the biggest coward I’ve ever seen. “Fraidy-Cop” claimed repeatedly that the unarmed woman with the iPod in her own yard scared him.
Also, I believe that the vast majority of “racial profiling” claims are nonsense, but I wouldn’t be surprised if these haters of the Constitution were guilty of it.

Arresting people for committing no crime because you don’t want to be videotaped is fascism. Not Nazi Germany fascism, but definitely on the poath.
And if you are too stupid to recognize that, you are truly ignorant.
And god help us if you are in law enforcement, because if so, it is people like you who truly deserve the title “PIG.”

Do you even LIVE in America now? Ever hear of the Branch Davidians? Randy Weaver? Elain Gonzalez? Heck, Martha Stewart?
This country is all about harassing and jailing the unpopular. If that cop beat her up and shot her dog, a majority of this country would cheer the brave man who-puts-his-life-on-the-line...
This denis poster is the ACLU compared to most American sheeple. And it's only gonna' get worse.
Watch out. There are halfwits and morons on this very thread defending these Gestapo tactics.
Yeah, those were triumphs of tyranny, cheered on by the lying anti-American media complex.
But their lies don’t have a stranglehold on the country any more.
That’s why the cops are TERRIFIED by a wisp of a girl with an iPod camera pointed at them. Because the truth on that camera threatens them.
Because they know that when the American people see the truth, it threatens them. The same reason the media lies and refuses the truth.
Truth is a very powerful and dangerous thing to tyrants. Very powerful, and (unfortunately for them) very accessible.
You are an idiot.
When I lived in Texas, I drove about 30 miles per hour (with my wife and children) through a school zone, where the speed limit was 25 mph.
The police called for backup, and got 4 cars to pull me over. They had me get out of the car. In the rain.
I got out of the car with my hands in the air. The cops were shocked. 3 of the police cars immediately left. I didn’t even get a citation.
You see, the cop that called for backup saw my wife as we drove by the school. My black wife. I am white, with blue eyes and red hair.
“So white that I lock the doors as I drive through the Norwegian section of town.”
You see, in that rural town they do things differently based on your skin color. First time I had experienced that in Texas. I think it would be a mistake to think that there were not other towns with the same policy.
no crime committed and we are in danger of being sued
Dennis, is it not telling to you that in every single thread like this one you are always on the wrong side of the debate?
You are always siding with the cops no matter what they do... everyone sans one or two of your brothers and sisters in blue come to your defense and you are always outnumbered by those who argue against you?
At what point are you going to wake up and come to the self evident conclusion that more and more conservatives are realizing each and every day... that something is bad wrong with the police today...
And by their own admissions and actions, violating our rights as a matter of course as is the case with this story... they are infact slowly becoming the enemy to liberty and freedom in this country.
