"Stupid mistake"

As a life-long conservative with a (l)libertarian bent, I have NEVER understood support for Bachmann.

Anyone who thinks she has a chance in this election cycle does not understand American politics IMHO.

I can't imagine a scenario where I would vote for her.

"I can't imagine a scenario where I would vote for her. "

I can: if the election is her vs. Obama. You saying you would vote for Obama?

Staying home=voting for Obama.

Bachmann IS the caricature that the MSM wants you to believe Sarah Palin is.

No experience, no accomplishments as a Congresswoman.Human gaffe machine. No business running for VP. She is the biggest political fraud that has been perpetrated on the US since Øbama.

How about if it's her or Ubama?
Everybody has their "line in the sand". Mine is Romney, Paul, or Huntsman. I will stay home if any of them is the GOP nominee.

I'm with you on Bachmann's bone fides, but I'm sure the scenario Bachmann vs Obama might get you to vote for her.

Myself. I do not understand it. When it vomes to experience, she is the WEAKEST csndidate running. On top of that, she would give Biden a run for his money on who is more gaff prone. I guess these Bachman folks just want them a Sarah so bad, without it being Sarah. BWAHAHAHA!! Not in a million years!!

As a life-long conservative with a (l)libertarian bent, I have NEVER understood support for Bachmann.

Let me help you understand the phenomenon. It is a very simple formula that has proved to be quite reliable in regards to a sizable portion of Free Republic time after time after time:

(Conservative Talking Points) + (Eye Candy) = (Intense and Irrational Adoration regardless of electability)

Case in Point Number 1:

"She can win a statewide U.S. Senate race because the (Eye Candy) Force is strong in her."

Case in Point Number 2:

"She can win a statewide U.S. Senate race because the (Eye Candy) Force is strong in her."

Case in Point Number 3:

"She can win a nationwide Presidential race because the (Eye Candy) Force is strong in her."

Case in Point Number 4:

"She can win a nationwide Presidential race because the (Eye Candy) Force is strong in her."

Anyone who thinks she has a chance in this election cycle does not understand American politics IMHO.

Please go back to the formula and note the term "irrational".

"Understand American politics" is to "irrational adoration" as "understanding gravity" is to "irrationally believing that you can step off the the Golden Gate Bridge and fly around San Francisco".

When you are a totally irrational bridge jumper, you may actually believe that you can fly.

When you are totally irrational in American politics, you may actually believe that a candidate that 65% of all voters say that they will "definitely NOT" vote for can actually win a Presidential election.

In the case of Michelle Bachmann, the irrational belief is that America will be foolish enough to elect an inexperienced, brand-new in Congres, Affirmative Action candidate two elections in a row.

Look at the following list:

List of freshman class members of the 110th United States Congress

Would America be stupid enough to elect, as President of the United States of America, any one of the white, male Congressional Freshmen of the 110th Congress (sworn into Congress in January of 2007) who has no executive experience?

Hell no!

Even with: (Conservative Talking Points)

Hell no!

Then why is Michelle Bachmann even in this discussion?

Because the (Eye Candy) Force is strong in her.

America blundered into electing (Eye Candy) in 2008 and severely regrets it:

"OMG! Look at those pecs! Look at the Politically Correct skin color! Forget competence and experience. Let's elect him President of the United States of America!"

America was that stupid once and will not be that stupid again.

Given the choice between:

A.) Brand-new, inexperienced Affirmative Action candidate chosen for looks

B.) Affirmative Action candidate initially chosen for looks that now has four years of experience in the White House

America will go with the Affirmative Action devil that they know and choose (B).

If Rick Perry (ten and a half years of experience as Governor of the second most populous state in the Union) does not enter the race, conservative America will be royally screwed since the outcome of the 2012 Presidential election will be either President RINO Romney 1.0 or President Barack Hussein Obama 2.0 after the GOP suffers an electoral bloodbath of Christine O'Donnell proportions.

Christine O'Donnell: Beaten like a rented mule in the 2008 U.S. Senate race by Joe Biden. (64.7% to 35.3%)

Christine O'Donnell: Beaten like a red-headed stepchild in the 2010 U.S. Senate race by Chris Coons. (56.6% to 40.0% )

Shame that libs don’t hold their candidates to the same degree of verification of facts ala 57 states seeing dead people etc.
this is a stupid mistake and gives me second thoughts about her. (Bachmann)
