Sarah Palin's camp is reaching out to activists and operatives in Iowa about setting up meetings while she's in the state Tuesday for the screening of a documentary about her - including with Chuck Laudner, a former Iowa GOP executive director and prominent conservative.
Laudner confirmed to POLITICO he'd gotten a call from Palin's advisers either Friday or over the weekend asking about meeting with him while she's in Pella for the screening of "The Undefeated."

>> “What information is she trying to ascertain before making a decision?” <<
.
Its not about information; its about holding on to her source of income, and high visibility, as long as possible.
I’m inclined to trust her judgment, as she has been quite skillful at running for office so far.
He plans, and I don't think he is going to get it. Just like he planned for low unemployment, a green economy, and Unicorn Farts to power my car. Wall St has said no mas, and my guess is my uber liberal distant relatives that pulled the lever for him but wish it was Hilda ( as close I ever get to an apology ) will not be sending him money they don't have...
i agree it looks like his fundrasing is going slow.
She was invited. So no she had no control over that either. Only control she had was to accept or decline the invite.
the location, time the movie itself were all planned by someone else.
July 26th which is the first day after the time limitations expire for the chance of any more of those stupid bogus lawsuits.
She isn’t running ‘cause of her voice and Perry and the gun sight thing and Paul Revere and Alaska and polls and her bus tour and 1773 and Trig and she’s stupid and she’s been Quayled and the border and DWTS and her emails and....stuff./s
My money is waiting for Sarah.
mine too.
Yes, he’s a very capable guy who formerly worked for Congressman Steve King.
PP..... Palin/Perry, kick butt with both feet.

“If Perry runs, and he will, Palin wont run.”
......,Palin won’t run??????????? LOLOLOL
Even Ray Charles could see that she is...
and Ray is....
Blind
&
Dead........
If Perry runs it’ll eventually wind down to running as Palin’s VP.
The 2012 will be Palin/XXX........ we are just in the early stages of determining just who the XXXs might be in the running.
Although I don’t think that any of the current Presidential candidates will slide down into the VP slot, some may in fact be an attractive prospect later on in the cycle.
I think that Palin will choose her running mate from outside the “usual suspects” if for no other reason than to throw the Democrats off stride by forcing them to invent another attack strategy for a previously unknown to presidential politics VP candidate, and to re-inforce any percieved weaknesses in the campaign.......
A second thought is that each candidate adds or subtracts to the overall GOP/Conservative message in the coming 2012 election.
People like Palin, Bachmann, Cain, and Perry, will each add greatly to the overall message used to defeat Obama. They are potatoes, carrots, and meat of the stew.
Guliani, Gingrich, and Pawlenty will add flavor to that overall message, giving the Stew above an interesting spice without detracting from the main ingrediants.
People like Romney and Trump will detract from the message, because of their uneven records and the muddy message they present. Lets get them out early before their unsavory taste spoils the meal.
“I wish shed run, if only because the left-wing media is so sure she wont.”
The left wing media is persuing an agenda contrary to the needs of the Nation, the GUP, and Sarah Palin.
If she doesn’t run will you post “I did not know what I was talking about!”? Because you talk as though you have inside information.
There are several candidates who would love to run as VEEP. Cain is one of them. But the one con man who is “running” for VEEP without running is Huckabee. He’s hoping Palin will get the nomination and pick him. I don’t think she’s that stupid.
I still say Palin and Perry will not run against each other. Palin can pick Perry as VEEP but he can pick her. She has to be “all in”. But he can “run” for both positions.
“If she doesnt run will you post I did not know what I was talking about!?”
Yes.... Forunately that circumstance will not occur. No inside information just a good ear and pretty good political instincts.
Sarah Palin is a first tier candidate of the top rank. If defeated during the primary season she will support the winning nominee, but refrain from becoming a part of the ticket.
Her value in the above event would best be as a political pundit/writer/speechmaker. (Similiar to what Reagan did in 1976). Sarah Palin’s political life may be much longer, and in the long run more influential than any other modern politician. Which in itself amazing, given the massive effort the left has invested in trying destroy her.
