I agree entirely. I saw her as a logical alternative to Palin. But she has shown herself to be completely unprepared for a presidential run. Heck, look at her complete denial that she and her husband had received cash from their father-in-law's farm - when her very own Congressional disclosure filings indicate otherwise. In such an instance, and knowing the story was in play, she should have had a complete explanation of the matter. A blanket denial with no explanation puts her in the position of contradicting her own official paperwork. Never a good thing.
But try telling her supporters that Bachmann is doing a really bad job out of the gate. They adhere to the same approach that Bachmann is following - pretend there is no problem. It's not hard to guess how well that approach will play out over time.
She's going to run out of money before the first primary. At this point I don't see anyone actually donating their hard earned money to Bachmann only to see her piss it away with rookie mistakes.
She got in too early. She got a lot of people excited. Now she's headed for the basement with Gingrich.
