That is rich. She starts a little Tea Party Club in the House and then calls herself the Chairman.

Why are you needlessly bashing a good conservative?

Michele, now is the time to get ahead of this by releasing your tax returns from 2004 onward. Throw it back in their face.

Hm. Messed up about Ron Paul, but quickly corrected.

How soon will Bachmann clear up that little lie about no revenue from the farm when her disclosure statement says otherwise?

Seems so, they seem to have a problem with conservatives that have made the commitment to enter the 2012 field.

Go figger?

"My, how industrious and diligent the L.A. Times is when it suits their agenda."

Indeed. . . In other (non-news) news:

Nancy Pelosi's personal wealth increases by 63% in last year as rest of nation suffers. Libs agree this is proof positive of a robust economic recovery. Lame stream media couldn't agree more. Film at 11!. . . LOL

“Hopefully, we “conservatives” can quickly dispose of Bachmann like we did Palin so we can move on to destroying the next GOP candidate”

Yes, you are right, that is what it seems like.

Full disclosure: I did criticize Herman Cain today.

But I think vetting the candidates is good. I still remember the great Harriet Miers (sp?) battle.

However, there’s a aspect of hysteria to some of this stuff, and also an attitude of ONLY [my candidate] is ANY GOOD, [He or She] is the ONLY one who can win. ALL THE REST are RINO POSERS and we’ll be better off with Obama.

I think one of the best benefits to having Gov. Palin as a candidate is that the MSM has already reamed her, she wont have to go through the so called vetting process.
Just wish barry would have been vetted.

As for the farm, she said it belonged to her father-in-law. "It's not my husband and my farm," Bachmann said. "And my husband and I have never gotten a penny of money from the farm."

As the Los Angeles Times reported on Sunday, however, in financial disclosure forms, Bachmann reported receiving between $32,503 and $105,000 in income from the farm, at minimum, between 2006 and 2009.

Why the discrepancy? This is what bothers me about Bachmann - she apparently feels no obligation to address issues such as this, and would rather just pretend they don't exist.

We need to keep it up so the 'RATS can lay back munching popcorn, cooling their heels and getting their boy a second term without having to spend too much of the union's money!

You've nailed it, unfortunately.

I guess the ethics laws for Congress are different than those for federal govenment employees. That is not enough degrees of separation to avoid a conflict of interest for civilian employees.

“We’ve managed to pretty much trash every one of our candidates.”

Take heart, FRiend. The mushy middle will decide this election, as they decide all of them.

Those folks don’t pay attention to FR or Daily Kos or any of this political junkie stuff.

Sadly they do still listen to the MSM.

But, if gas is still at $4.00 a gallon and butter at $6.00 a pound (can you believe that? That was the price at my local supermarket this morning, one brand on sale for $5.00) and unemployment still at 9% and housing still in the tank, even the MSM in all their glory will not be able to convince the mushies to give Obama 4 more years.

She may have gotten assets from the farm through the Father in Law who was trying to give assets to his kids to avoid death tax later, but his choice to give it to her wasn’t her running a farm or having a connection to it beyond being related to the owner.

It would be like blaming Chris Matthews for his drug related relatives. Doesn’t look or sound good, but it hasn’t anything to do with him.

Ya better look at the conditions of the partnership & the tax consequences. I was once a partner in a firm and left when it started serious decline (I was minority partner, major partner was less than a businessman). I remained a 49% owner and had to report 49% of the income altho I received NO $$. It was an "S" corp. I ended up paying over $150,000 in taxes and received ZERO.

I'm sure the LA Times will be publishing all of the details ASAP. sigh.
