I wouldn’t call it shocking. I’m sure the beltway crowd isn’t happy about it.

Bad news for T-Paw. He never caught on in his neighbor state.

Where’s the shock? One’s a conservative and the other is a RINO.

Shocking? NO, Interesting? YES, This election is going to be probably the most important in history, as I believe it is our last remaining chance to save America. God only knows how it will all play out, but I am worried. And the LAST thing we need is another RINO like Romney. I’m hoping re-districting (sp?) will be helpful this election year as well.

Thanks Hojczyk. Don’t underestimate Mitt — he’s steadily chipping away at his own lead. ;’)

Perry ....flavor of next week.

Mr. Drudge: Do you think you might be able to retire the phrase “shock poll” - permanently?

There is nothing remotely shocking about this.

RINO Romney has been rejected once; he will be rejected again.

Romney will not win anything. He is a empty suit and would be good quality Obama bait.
I think enough voters know this.

The real question is; Will she or won't she?

At several points leading to 08 Romney , McCain and Giuliani led in IA. Huck won. So far this year , Romney Trump and Bachmann have registered the top of an IA poll. This is the flavor of the week stage. The poll means nothing as IA will be a caucus and the winner will be the one who organizes the best , this is why candidates like Huck and Obama come from behind the polls to win a surprise victory.

Rino (32): Romney 23 + Gingrich 7 +Huntsman 2

Conservative (36): Bachmann 22 + Cain 10 + Santorum 4

Whacko (7): Paul 7%

In The middle (6): Pawlenty, 6 percent

I wonder how much of Gingrich’s support is from conservatives who have no idea how he has changed.

Most people do not know that Bachmann supports ethanol subsidies and has recieved over 250k in farm subsidies with her family through a trust for a farm she owns with her family. Subsidies and Tea party don't mix

Also not well known yet is that Michele Bachmann wrote several letters to Bush adm in 2007 advocating a presidential pardon for Frank Vennes who was a large donor to her , Norm Coleman and Tim Pawlenty. Vennes pleaded guilty and no contest to federal charges of money laundering, cocaine and firearms trafficking in 1987. Pardons for fat cats and Tea Party don't mix.

Last week Bachmann was caught using taxpayer-funded congresional office accounts to pay for campaign appearances which makes her no better than a petty thief. Not illegal but highly unethical and against House rules.

All of these things are hints of a woman with a lack of character who might sell out in the WH.

And the fact that Ed Rollins is her campaign manager should give serious pause ....

I agree with all the comments that say .. this isn’t shocking at all.

But, sadly, I don’t see Sarah getting in if Michelle continues to do well.

Hard to tell. I would still think a good deal of the Gingrich voters would have been held-over conservatives unwilling to see his changes on certain things. However, when Newt pulls out (and he will probably do so before January), he will most likely endorse Romney. Not sure where those voters go though.
