I’m just shocked. Shocked I tell you! Shocked!

The one time I ever drove through Chicago was in a U-Haul at night, in hopes of avoiding the worst traffic. As we cruised through town, out of nowhere, some black teenager jumped off the berm on one side of the freeway, dashed across the road right in front of me and was gone to the other side before I could even hit the brakes. He had a cop in hot foot pursuit right behind him, but the Officer wasn’t stupid and didn’t chase the kid through traffic.

You reminded me of when I last left Washington DC with my two sons in the car as we turned left to get on the highway (with traffic) we heard a loud thump on the right side of the car. When we stopped for gas (in NJ) I saw what looked like an egg! My car out of so many got egged! It could have been a bullet. You can't always be aware but be alert of where you are at any moment. Works for me. n/s
