Brad was not amused on how absurd the script was that he later told the execs ‘I don’t want to work with this clown’. So the project was DOA.

A moment of clarity from Brad Pitt? That's refreshing...

Even a blind hog finds an acorn now and then . . . Or maybe Brad Pitt just looks smarter when he’s standing near Oliver Stone?

“You shouldn't speak until you know what you're talking about. That's why I get uncomfortable with interviews. Reporters ask me what I feel China should do about Tibet. Who cares what I think China should do? They hand me a script. I'm a grown man who puts on makeup.”

Yup.

He also added one thing that no one ever heard of, the real reason why Star Trek was directed by JJ Abrams.

One Paramount exec was pissed off that someone was parked in his spot. It was James Cameron. When said exec told Cameron to get away from parking spot, Cameron said ‘DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM, I MADE AVATAR. I HAVE THE DIRECTOR OF THE NEW START TREK WITH ME MFER”.

He didn’t say “which” director was in Cameron’s Porsche. So he went next door to JJ Abram’s office so pissed, he said to Abrams “do you want to direct Star Trek?”. Abrams just said yes, politely.

Exec comes down, says to Cameron “go f*** yourself, we already have a director. And kindly get out of my parking spot before I call security, you arrogant SOB”.

Nice story over lunch..
