It doesn’t really matter whether the press is covering Paling or not. She is not running for President. Bachmann is going to get the presidential campaign press because she is running.
Palin fans will never accept this but I thought Sarah Palin would take the past two and half years to mold herself into a candidate that was acceptable to the average person, get a speech coach to modulate her voice and syntax and allow her to artfully articulate her message. I also expected her to put together a dynamic campaign team to raise money and organize infrastructure in key primary states like Iowa and New Hampshire. She has not done that. Consequently she is not going to run for President and she has no chance to win. You are going to be upset about this for the next 16 mos leading up to the election.
At some point when it becomes evident that Palin is really really not running you will finally stop flaming everyone who just pointed out the obvious.
The Palin people would be better served to get behind Bachmann who is a Tea Party Conservative and is actually running for President. She wants to repeal Obamacare, cut the size of government and restore the Constitutional Republic. Maybe we can catapault her into office.
So it's flaming when I point out that Palin gets more press - including presidential campaign press - than all the other candidates combined. Gotcha.

Yeah, Bachmann is such a Tea Party conservative that she favors ethanol subsidies and also wanted MORE fedgov pork purchases a couple of years ago. And used taxpayer funds for a political rally - all the while pretending it was a press conference.
The Tea Party is about walking the walk. Bachmann so far has been underwhelming. She needs to earn the support. And address the concerns instead of just pretending they don't exist. Likewise for her supporters.
