And it should be noted here, the main distinction between lower and middle class is that the middle class, especially the upper middle, are the ones scrambling to improve their lot in life, while the lower class sits around complaining and waiting for government to solve their problems.
The upper class tends to divide between the liberal "idle" rich & celebrities that get things handed to them and the conservatives that worked their way to the top.
While there were some good points and zingers in this article, I found it extremely difficult to follow during a casual read. Does Delingpole always write like this? There were phrases modifying phrases modifying phrases - sometimes 4 or 5 levels of indirection deep. I thought my head was going to explode trying to follow it at points.
Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner in today’s, actually yesterday’s, STUMP THE CHUMP CONTEST! It’s James Delingpole for his use of the word “emollient”. For his efforts, James wins a case of cold cream.
For being the dumbest creatues they sure have managed to move the ball forward a long ways towards their goal.
The last couple of years they’ve been going at seemingly light speed.
Republicans should be so dumb.
