THE NY LEGISLATURE VOTED ON THIS LATE AT NIGHT SO TO AVOID MASS CALLING BY PEOPLE NORTH OF NEW YORK CITY. What would you have liked me to do? Hitchhiked up to Albany a week before the vote? Like I said, they voted in the middle of the night to avoid scrutiny. There was nothing I could do. I found out about it while posting ON HERE that NY legalized it.
By the same sense other states have banned it before NY voted on it. So now there’s a legal battle the Supreme Court must consider. Tell anybody you know to start rapid-firing lawsuits now. Should the Supreme Court agree with a state banning it before NY made their decision to accept it?
No, DBeers, I don’t know when the government decided they were our divine rulers again, and set it out that they decided who may be married. I don’t think my grandparents were born when the government made that decision. To bash me for something the government did a very long time ago is just dumb.
Like I said, there is a now a legal battle brewing, because Alabama banned it before NY allowed it. Pray the Supreme Court decides against gay marriage. There’s absolutely nothing you or I can do as individuals, acting as individuals. What we can do however is to group together and act in such a manner.
Many times there is nothing we can do about evil except try to prevent it and regardless remain steadfast in calling it what it is.
Anyway, having opposed the homosexual agenda from the beginning and debated and argued the topic for quite some time I have come to realize that in a nutshell the whole agenda can be simplified and distilled down to a simple description. There is a special interest group that promotes evil and in their mind any means are legitimate. Evil does not play by the rules, play fair, or give a damn about anything but itself.
What we see here is simply a morally devoid homosexual sex promoting special interest group that is claiming to be oppressed and politicians using the power of government to free the oppressed. They seek to equalize the outcome, give any and all the ability to play house, get some children to adopt, and get some benefits ALL on the backs of society.
The value that society has long recognized in marriage and family is being redistributed to participants in an activity that is valueless, disordered, depraved, unhealthy, and self destructive.
This flawed robin hood role of taking from the oppressors and giving to the oppressed is something our elected marxist community organizer thrives on; it is his calling and his goal to impose this brand of social justice by any method he can; laws be damned.
Anyway, 'they' call this push for 'social justice' by the terms 'gay rights' and 'marriage equality' BUT REALLY it as the old as the failures of man, it is a proven epic failure of an ideology that has went by such names as marxism, socialism, communism and liberation theology in the past.
IT will fail again; of that I am sure; however, there might be a painful spell between now and then.
