A Wednesday Washington Post story used anonymous Justice Department sources to bash Issa’s investigation into Project Gunrunner and Operation Fast and Furious.
The anonymous sources claimed that Issa attended a classified April 2010 briefing for members of Congress and their staffers about the programs that have allowed American guns into Mexican drug cartels’ hands.
Issa spokesman Frederick Hill told The Daily Caller the Post is the first newspaper to run these DOJ claims, but not the first one the Justice Department went to with them.
if it is untrue (if issa was not at the briefing), we have a huge problem
the doj telling lies to discredit congressmen doing their duty of oversight and investigation OF THE DOJ
somebody needs to be in prison

New listener to Levin since I got fed up with Savage’s vacation days,,,
Just a question, don’t any of you ever get tired of being riled up by these talkers who know what is wrong with things yet have no solutions?
I used to be (thank God I am not anymore) a liberal who thought humans were what was wrong with the world, but that side of things has people who point out the problems, get people mad and leave them hanging for solutions as well. (While selling books and going to speaking engagements)
Where is the line drawn between extorting the angry wage earners (or greenies) to make a personal profit for the talker and actually benefiting the listeners?
Will probably take a break from those who dont put their money where their mouth is - why listen to those who won’t step up to the plate personally and just feed on getting people mad?
