Not even an apology when the LSM discovers that Sarah Palin was correct. I gave three years of my life defending the rights’ of the filthy bastards in the LSM to do this. Pardon me while I puke.
Those military personnel who are awarded medals for heroism are not “winners” they are recipients of the award. To be awarded a MOH, Bronze Star, Silver Star, LOM, Navy Cross etc and not medals of recognition that were won in a contest. The proper way to describe these people would be “ Medal of Honor Recipient”.
A lot of folks make this mistake and offense is not intended so I put a fine point on this merely for educational purposes.
No one risks life and limb with the forethought that “ if I do this, I’ll get a medal”.
I agree and if this had been Bush this would be all over the front pages of the liberal papers and on every news network.
