We have more than our share in Memphis and they are spreading to the burbs.

That’s because of housing vouchers and Section 8 housing a lot of homeowners aren’t aware of (just another method of spreading the wealth and tearing down good, solid neighborhoods).
Unsuspecting white suburbanites, and those who live in smaller cities, are now dealing with violent crime rates that used to be confined to inner-city slums.
There are no "safe" neighborhoods any more. ANY parking lot, ANY fast-food restaurant, ANY shopping center could be the scene of an unfortunate encounter with some of our predator class.
