I am howling with the pig story!! I hope she got a “good girl” for protecting grammy!! (maybe one of those dried, crunchy pig ears as a treat for later?!).
She likes her pig ear “on the hoof” as it were.
My mom said it felt very empowering to have, at her instant command, to either attack or withdraw - one hundred pounds of canine fury.
