My mom had a female Australian Shepherd that didn't really like men.

My stepdad was rough housing with my sister (his daughter)when that dog jumped through the screen window and bit him on the butt!

Had to get rid of that dog!

Years ago my husband and I trained our dog by roughhousing on the floor. Got the dog to listen to me. He only attacked once and that was at my normal voice saying *Get um mugs*. Hubbys friend came over and was laughing at his dog that ripped out the knee of hubbys jeans when passing him to get into the truck for hunting...

Said friend at the time was petting Mugsy. I got tired of listening to him laugh and said *get um mugs*. The dog was in his lap and on his face in a split second...stopped him laughing about his dog that had already bit the postman...When I said *down mugs*, immediately got off his lap and wagged his tail...scared the crap out of hubbys buddy....

At times me and all the kids (5) would get my husband on the floor and tickled him until he would be yelling I cannot breath..(due to laughing so hard). The dog was a protector of me and the kids....He was never agressive toward hubby after we all got up off the floor...It was fun...We were younger....
