“Senate Republican Leader Bob Dutton, R-Rancho Cucamonga, said Romneys record as governor speaks for itself.
No kidding
To: hosepipe
As God Almighty is my witness, I will NEVER vote for this man in any capacity. I will stay home on the General Election Day if he is the only ‘conservative’ option.

I hate to break the bad news, but Romney is a done deal.
Between open primaries and GOP insiders 90+% pro-Romney, there will be no serious contest.
The real question is, what happens after?

Sigh.
Obviously I disagree with a Mitt endorsement in ANY event, but
WHAT IS THE RUSH? Things are just getting underway in the ‘12 race. If Perry gets in, that’ll shake things up a lot.
The only reason to endorse now is to kiss up to the endorse-ee. (And Buck McKeon has no reason to do that; he’s probably too old to benefit from anything that a President Romney could give him.)

If that Democrat, which Slick Willard is, is thrust down our throats, you can say gbye GOP.Well, I agree about the GOP, but Mitt is not a Democrat.
He's a manager. Like Dukakis, like Carter, like Bob Dole he doesn't GET the whole political thing. He thinks it's stupid.
His game plan, which works great for VC and for major complex projects, is to get all the experts in a room, Delphi them to death, and drag a plan out of them - and announce to the people that the experts have spoken.
There are domains where this is good - making tons of money is one of them - but national leadership is something different, something he has (I think) no clue about.
But he's nice to children and dogs, at at Treasury I'm sure he would kick ass.

Oh, I get that. When you look at the voting of mormons for candidates, when they (mormons) generally live very conservative lives, will however vote for a liberal mormon. Example: Romney 94%, Reid 67%.
It is probably not actually different than any other group who identifies with a candidate. There just seems to be a big disconnect between the way they (lds) live and who they vote for on average.
