Republicans, including Sarah Palin and Rudy Giuliani, made a "strategic blunder" by making a joke of Barack Obama's work as a community organizer, Newt Gingrich says in a new book about the radical ACORN group.
It was "not helpful" for Palin and Giuliani to mock community organizing in their speeches at the 2008 Republican National Convention, Gingrich tells investigative reporter Matthew Vadum in his new book, Subversion Inc. The GOP's mockery "trivialized Obama and Obama is not a trivial person," Gingrich said in an exclusive interview with Vadum featured in the book:

These older politicians have been chewing too many meds over the years. Their brains are scrambled.
“The GOP’s mockery “trivialized Obama and Obama is not a trivial person,” Gingrich said”
Holy crap, I’ve never seen a more trivial person.
Pee-Wee Herman has more gravitas.
No wonder his campaign staff bailed.
And we care what this nutjob says WHY?
Newt,
Your Tiffany diamonds, your inside the beltway Washington Office, your support of Global Warming, and your support of Dede(NY-23) was and still are blunders like no others.
Newt is a sore loser.
Newt has misread things. The issue wasn’t only that Obama was a community organizer, but that he was ONLY a community organizer.
In 2012, he will be able to pad his resume with “Nation Destroyer” to that community organizer item. Wait, did I mean President of the United States instead? Nope, he hasn’t qualified himself with that one so far.
Gingrich is a fine one to talk about “strategic blunders”.
Shall we start with his turning his elderly mother over to Connie Chung for an interview?
Then there was throwing a public hissy fit because he had to depart from the back of the lane when on a jaunt with Clinton.
What about playing around with a government staffer at the same time as Clinton was being impeached?
How about traipsing off to Greece in the middle of his latest campaign?
How about “dissing” the staffers who left in protest as being lightweights and not too experienced?
And there is so much more.
I wish that he’d just go away and shut up.
Excuse me, Mr. Gingrich, aren’t you due for another long cruise with your latest wife/chief political strategist right about now? If not, please do everyone a favor and book one, as soon as possible.
Newt is the “Strategic Blunder Czar”.
Mr Newt’s higher calling is to be a tour guide at Sea World San Diego. The kids always listen to every word out of the guides mouth.
If anyone knows about “strategic blunders” it’s Newt
First of all, a woman who used to blow you in your car while she worked for you and you were married to another woman will NEVER be the First Lady of these United States - even if she didn't look like “the Joker” in drag.
Secondly, your campaign staff left you when they realized this was only a “vanity” campaign to burnish your credentials as a pundit and that you had no actual intention or likelihood of winning the nomination.
Thirdly - challenging the “community organizer” is ‘low hanging fruit’. It isn't a job that resonates with most working Americans as being a necessity or a place where fundamental knowledge of the U.S. economy would be imparted.
Fourthly You don't have to go home, but you do have to go. Keep going. Not gone enough yet. Keep going.
Gingrich himself is a “strategic blunder”.
It would seem to me to be more along the lines of the emperor having no clothes....
“The GOP’s mockery “trivialized Obama and Obama is not a trivial person,” Gingrich said in an exclusive interview with Vadum featured in the book”
It does not matter if Obama is or is not a trivial person Newt; you are!!!!
“strategic blunder”
Gingrich running for President.
Newt - take the hint. No one cares what you think, what you do, or what you say. You are totally irrelevant.
