I have no problem with any affirmative action candidates. AKA females and blacks.

Affirmative Action does not mean "female and black or (insert Affirmative Action category here)".

Affirmative Action means "held to far lower standards because that person is (insert Affirmative Action category here)."

If you have no problem with Affirmative Action candidates, in politics or in any field where competence matters, ..... you should.

If all NBA teams are told by the NBA Commissioner that, for the sake of "diversity", all NBA teams must have at least one token white guy as a starter, regardless of abilty, then that white guy qualifies as being "Affimative Action".

In the NFL "Rooney Rule" mandates, the token person with the black skin that must be humiliated by an interview for a job everbody knows he will never get because Bill Belicheck has decided to leave as Coach of the New England Patriots is an Affirmative Action candidate.

By contrast, Tony Dungee, a Coach that most NFL teams would kill to have, will never be an Affirmative Action candidate because he is highly desireable because he is damned good at what he does and not merely because of the color of his skin.

Besides... America is tired of the old white guy politicians and pretty hair doos and tans and I am not talking about the women.

I, personally, do not like "pretty hair doos" and Perry's hair turns me off. But, you know what?

A Presidential election should not be about hair or about great legs or looks or about XY chromosomes or XX chromosomes or skin color.

A a Presidential election should be about the BEST QUALIFIED person available REGARDLESS of looks.

The once upon a time looks didn’t count. Presidents were secretly in wheel chairs, speaking on radio, limited TV. But I doubt even back then Helen Thomas would have made it LOL.You just know you could feel her fuglyness through even radio.

Even the best qualified aren’t perfect and are subjected to curruption; from within the very status, which has turned into a monarchy in the WH. We need the days returned that those holding office in government are servants and not wealthy men and women with many homes —and— one in the Hampton’s;with a large staff and offices US wide.

The MSM tried so hard to make the Obama’s the black Kennedy’s. They wanted they’re progressiveness communism hidden in a monarchy of fashion and history of a lie of the first black President.

Simple government and massive downsizing is over due or we we will collapse as a country. It is like a show D’s in R’s out. In between we are promised campaign finance reform and no more taxes and spending.Business and fat cats buying off the President and Senate and Congress with mob union corruption has to end.

We are getting ready to watch Obama spend a BILLION dollars to lie to us some more;with others spending millions upon millions to say they will do better. How utterly stupid is that when we are in a full economic crisis with no jobs and inflation?

How about no more royalty in the WH and no more long campaigns... wasting money? We are not England. How about one or two speeches over the net and television and everyone vote in a shorter time? The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and actually expecting a different result. We have been duped long enough.
