Michelle Bachmann — the second coming of Duncan Hunter, only not nearly so ideologically appealing. MB has no chance of winning the nod. The most she can do is split conservative support giving Romney a boost. I doubt she can put him over the top, but helping him is the only goal that is achievable for her. Maybe she's hoping to be 2012’s Palin, the running mate who helps sell a revolting nominee to the conservative base. If so, she's likely to be disappointed.

MB’s candidacy is a waste of time and effort that is badly needed elsewhere. And in any case, where immigration is concerned Perry is not good, but he's a whole lot better than the last two GOP nominees. He's a step up in every category.

So who is your candidate? Bachmann is the only tea party candidate that just did so well in the debates she is now looked at as being on top because of Romney’s global warming crap, he is political toast. I like Cain but the media keep damaging him saying he was a CEO of a pizza joint and I doubt the GOP fat cats will back him. I wish West would run.

In the primary, I will not vote for a pro amnesty candidate. That is my bottom line. If that means I sit out the primary, so be it.

I will reluctantly vote for the nominee if conservatives have decided they no longer care about amnesty. But it will be a empty vote and just a vote against Obama. We have been through all of this with Bush.

Funny, back when Bush, McCain, and Skeletor were trying to shove amnesty up our posteriors, a poster asked me if I voted for Bush. I said, yes I did. They then said that I should have paid attention because that was always Bush. I have never forgotten that. The truth was that I really didn't know what the Bush position was on immigration.

Well, I am paying attention and I refuse to be chastised for voting for what I was against.

If amnesty gets passed, the US is over anyway. Just a matter of time.
