Nah, let's get rid of the US Marshal service too. Then maybe I won't see umpteen predictions every year about how "WJC/GWB*/BHO/[Insert name here] is gonna institute marshal(l) law so the 2000/2004/2008/2012/[insert year here] elections will be suspended". Maybe people will actually start spelling it martial law. Dare I hope?

I am ASSuming that this particular misspelling is based on the fact that there actually are law enforcement officers called marshals...Maybe folks think THEY institute marshal(l) law, and 'martial law' is something done by the US armed forces.

(Personally, if I had my pick I'd disband the TSA before even the BATF. The TSA is THAT foul, IMO.)
