Perhaps that's why I feel such a connection with my Bond Arms Snake Slayer. These days if a kid drops his ABC blocks and they randomly spell "gun" the system comes crashing down on his head. There are seven images of guns on the box. LOL! I'm busting a gut!

It is the real reason I bought a five shot .22 magnum derringer when I got the chance. When I was almost a teen, my cousin and I made .22 short zip guns in the summer, to go frog hunting with. Out grew out Daisy BB guns. To this day I have an itching to made a single shot 20 gage zipgun.

I’m so old that when I was in school my older brother who was in rifle club would bring his rifle and a box of fifty rounds on the school bus!
