Who could have foreseen that a leftist media outlet would explain that Jon Stewart is not a leftist? Who are you going to believe - your own lying ears or the highly reputable LA Times?
He conceded that the NYT is lazy, but not liberal. Wallace did the job exposing his hypocrisy.
Article is bullpuckey. Stewart is an apparatchik of the state-owned media, and he attacks the left only to the extent that the Party has decided to allow. Targets are chosen for him by the Party, with the intent either of drumming them out or of delivering a small, but not fatal, attitude adjustment.
