Apple has discovered there are other kittehs in the neighborhood. We currently have a feral queen with three kittens who has taken up residence in our back yard, plus there’s a gray tabby tom (I think) who comes around occasionally. She got into a scuffle with the gray tabby. My wife thinks he might have been after her bling (a purple collar with rhinestones, a jingle bell, and her registration tag), since it got broken in the fight. Apple was not injured, though.

Hate to tell ya this, but he was probably after the kittens. Seems that I read some time ago that the male will sometimes try to kill the kittens. Gotta keep 'em away.
