Journalism is the “the first rough draft of history,” former Washington Post President and Publisher Philip Graham reportedly said. If that’s true, history won’t be very kind to conservatives. It’s not news that most of the old media – newspapers, TV and public outlets like NPR and PBS – are liberal. But old media outlets are in trouble and layoffs, closings and circulation declines run like red ink all over their balance sheets. One amusing thing - the local Patch for Waukesha County posted the correct election numbers for the Prosser/Kloppenburg race on election night. That fact alone seriously undercut the Democrats’ recount strategy.

I saw the homepage for Huff Post exactly once and saw 2 articles front and center written by Alec Baldwin and Sean Penn.
