LAKE JACKSON, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, 2012 GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul commented on the recent revelations about the federal governments botched program to track gun sales. See statement below.

The ATF has a long history of abusing our Second Amendment rights, so I was glad to see Congressman Issa demanding answers on the Project Gunwalker scandal.
My hope is that the recent hearing will further expose the ATF's and Attorney General Eric Holder's assaults on law-abiding gun owners, and more people will start questioning the need for unconstitutional agencies like the ATF that exist solely to infringe on American citizens' God-given right to keep and bear arms.
I am always amazed when I see how correct Paul is...... during his occasional, sometimes rare, moments of lucidity.
Paul can smell the corpse and so should anyone else with more than 2 working brain cells.
ATF is criminally culpable, as well as Holder and in my opinion-—Obama. Proving that will of course be near impossible. Issa better keep his pencils very sharp.
This is not just a screwup, a mistake, a boo boo, an act of incompetence or anything else that ATF and the other co-conspirators would want us to believe. This is a criminal conspiracy that includes some at the highest levels of our government.
Paul is spot on in his observations/assumptions , although I think he has just touched the surface.
Project Gunwalker is the name given to the investigation.....I have been following this since january...it would appear you have the premise right, but are short on facts...read the reporters report in the examiner, and start from the beginning..fubo is going to be impeached over this, along with napolitano, holder and clinton...and a host of smaller fish...see tagline
Agree 100%. Even if it were an alternate-reality universe and this was accidental, it would be a criminal level of stupidity.
I agree that is the most likely situation.
No. It won’t. The system will protect itself. They will toss out a few mid-level fish to appease the sharks and the higher-ups will laugh all the way to the bank.
He absolutely is right on many issues.
And AWFULLY wrong on many others.
Paul/Bolton. Hell yes! We would be out of the UN by sundown.
