Conceal Carry Under Attack From "Tyrant of Madison" Mayor Soglin(WI)

Ultra-Liberal Madison Wisconsin Mayor Paul Soglin has issued a statement indicating his disdain of the new conceal carry bill, and his intent to subvert the will of Wisconsin voters by restricting the carrying of guns in Madison.

Trying to enforce his will upon the residents of Madison, The former 60's radical Mayor Soglin stated that he will sign an ordinance that will not allow anyone to carry concealed weapons on private property unless the carrier has written permission from the owner of the property.

As written, the concealed carry bill allows for property owners, if they choose, to restrict the carrying of guns on their property, but demanding that each gun owner carry written permission from the thousands of private property owners in Madison is simply another Liberal Democratic tactic to enforce their will upon the majority. Not only is it impossible to get and carry that much paperwork, but the law does not make allowances for such a local ordinance. It only allows for local governments to restrict the carrying guns in public buildings.

Mayor Paul Soglin is well aware that local ordinances do not supersede state law, but he does not care. He is an ultra-radical Liberal Democratic from Chicago who knows the intricacies of tyranny, and how the courts are used to impose the will of the minority on the majority. That is his intent, to muck up the system with legalities, all the while denying the citizens of Madison their Constitutional rights.

Democracy, or the rule of the people means nothing to this former hippie and the only American mayor who, in 1975, actually met with Cuban dictator Fidel Castro. Following in the wake of his hero Castro, Soglin will dictate any ordinance he wants and deny any right that he does not agree with; like a typical radical tyrant.

Mayor Soglin is acting like a tyrant, imposing his liberal view of the world on every citizen under his rule. However, as much as this hippie-tyrant wants to rant and rave against the will of the people, the people will overcome. If Soglin wants to take this issue to court, fine, let him. The Supreme Court of Wisconsin is conservative and Soglin will lose. What those who support conceal carry in Wisconsin must pick up the gauntlet and attack Soglin with every legal measure available.

Since Soglin likes the courts, every citizen of Madison should begin to inundate the Mayor with legal challenges. Make Soglin and his staff spend their time and money in court defending against law cases, and not in their offices making tyrannical ordinances.

He didn’t say anything about bombs. When the creeps blew up the Army math research center and killed a researcher they were and still are hailed as heros

Since the state will allow concealed carry, how will anyone know if I have a firearm? Are they going to do Gestapo-like shakedowns at the doors?

Regardless, someone needs to ignore this law and get a lawsuit going.

What a brilliant idea, Mayor Soglin.

Now instead of committing crimes, all of the criminals will be preoccupied by the task of getting permission slips from all of the banks, liquor stores, convenience stores, and homeowners in the city, to ensure that they won't be violating that ordinance when they eventually get back to doing their normal thing...

Wait, wut?

This is Wisconsin. We've had signs readily available for private property holders for decades that read "No Hunting" for our land. I'm not opposed to the city-folk having the same. They can make signs that read "No Guns Allowed" or "Completed Undefended" or "Criminals Welcome" if they want. But the Mayor creating all that paperwork --- it's just typical liberal expensive ineffectiveness. They have no common sense, you see. So much for a "Save a Tree". What an eco-terrorist!

Sounds like the legislature needs to pass some preemption legislation to rein in this half-wit.

If you as a private property or business owner want to post no CCW fly to it, it’s your life. Remember though the criminals will not give two hoots in hell about your little sign anyway.

How about a referenda that nobody in the mayors offices is allowed to be armed or have an armed detail. Just to propose such a silly law would have him screaming like a trapped rat.

Oh no, can’t do that. Do as I say, not as I do, that is the liberal credo from the president to the local coffee shop latte sipping lib. How dare you suggest they follow the rules the demand others follow, I mean really...
