some of Bush’s .. accomplishments, such as creating the USA Freedom Corps, expanding funding for faith-based initiatives and launching the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief...the Medicare prescription drug benefit, and ..immigration reform

Bush has assumed the traditional respectful position of an ex-president;a quiet senior statesman that allows his successor every opportunity to achieve without a second guessing predecessor chiming in at every opportunity. Some (Clinton) can't stand to be out of the spotlight, while others (Carter) babble incessantly to every microphone that is placed in front of them as the continue their feeble attempt at rehabbing their failures by trashing the White House occupant based on their party affiliation and philosophical differences.

They despised him because he had character. They despised him because he was a patriot. They despised him because he was pro-business. They despised him because he had moral values. They despised him because he cut taxes. They despised him because he was pro-life and pro-marriage.
