You can’t possibly know how people here would react to a public apology. That’s ridiculously arrogant. My response would have been, “it’s about time, good for her”.

Saying someone doesn’t have executive experience is hardly the same as insulting their character and intelligence. Surely even you can realize that. One is personal, the other is simply a statement of fact (if it’s not Bachmann is certainly capable of correcting it). Discussing someone’s qualifications is a normal part of campaigning. Personal attacks on someone who hasn’t (and may not) enter the race isn’t. Especially when you consider Palin campaigned hard for Bachmann.

The insult was public so the apology should be too.

This is election time. All bets are off.

It was a catty remark and you give her a pass.

You know, it would have been fine to say that if Palin was only considered a pundit on FOX, but if she wants to be a candidate, it would be unfair.

Which tells me that Palin may not be running.
