I have sat down and talked with Chaffetz twice in the little Juice and Java restaurant in Orem, Utah. I very much like the man. He accepts the responsibility, has the proper humble demeanor, has a very high intelligence, and understands what is at stake in the future of our republic. He can’t undo the past, but he’s one of the simplest, clearest thinkers to come out of Utah. He’s got my vote. In fact, he’s the reason I’m still Republican.

(It takes a darn good reason for me to break down and post something these days.)

Sorry, but that tells me nothing.
Without knowing how rock solid he is or isn't on Illegal Immigration, limited government, social issues, globalism, and foreign policy, all this sounds like is a bunch of platitudes.
Where is he on the issues?
What is his history on his position on the issues?
Is he like Romney, a flip-flopper?
Or is he like Perry, a somewhat recent convert to conservatism?
