Heh, well I definitely agree that he should retire, but I don’t know if he’s been brainwashed. If he has, I’m curious as to by whom he’s been brainwashed by. And when. He was loving up on Teddy during the 2000 election, IIRC.

He may have always been a progressive, but because he says the right things in a handful of areas, he can blend in better with constitutionalists.

Because progressivism seeks ultimate power via centralized planning, it’s a very seductive ideology.

He was a prisoner of the Chinese Communists for five years during which he was continually tortured. He admits that they broke him. He returned with political ambitions, and he campaigns as a Conservative and legislates as a marxist. He sends mixed messages as if he’s battling internal demons.

He should have been thanked for his service and retired with a nice pension when he returned. He should never have been even close to the reins of power in our country, nor should anyone who has gone through what he did, may God Bless and keep him.
