This sentence-- Christianity and this republic were founded by rebels, revolutionaries and dissidents. Jesus called politicians foxes and I take that as a warning to US that when religion rules politics instead of guiding ethics and morality, we the people for justice, peace, equality and true democracy get screwed. --makes no sense. Thanks for your input, Eileen--but perhaps the painful task of thinking about religion should be left to those of us outfitted with the proper equipment (ie, brains) to do so.
