She DID give up the governorship...

So?

There were, almost daily and certaintly weekly, frivolous lawsuits being filed by Democrats against her that because of the laws of Alaska and ethical concerns she had to pay for the defense against.

They put her, and her family, over $500,000 in debt.

These lawsuits were so numerous that she and her staff had to spend over 80% of their time perparing and defending against these lawsuits.

She, and her staff could not do the state's business while spending all of that time to defend against those lawsuits.

So RockinRight, what were her options in your mind?

Should she have continued to have lawsuits filed against her that were effectively making her a non-Governor because of the time needed to prepare/defend against the lawsuits?

Should she have continued to rack up more and more debt that she had no way to pay for?

What would you have done RockinRight?

In all seriousness a person who wants to be POTUS has to have a thick skin. As for the lawsuits? That is what PAC and such orgs are for. If she could not handle the political pressures of Alaska how can anyone expect a person to handle the U.S. Houses?

As for me neither Palin nor Bachmann is on my list of top choices. We are in a world of hurt on about every matter and a lot of damage has been done to our national reputation and world respect.

We need a staunch non nonsense serious Conservative man in the White House yesterday. We also need a male conservative Sec of State yesterday. Right now the one I want to see in the White House isn't running. I want to see DeMint in the White House and yes I could gladdly handle a woman VP and either Palin or Bachmann would be a plus.

To be honest I really don't think Palin will run and if she does the media will chew her up and spit her out ala Alaska governorship. I think she is likely content with her other highly profitable ventures of which the will she or will she not run question is a part of keeping that busuiness in the limelite.
