A bond of $1 million was set in court this morning for an American Eagle flight attendant accused of stealing another man's identity to fly around the world.
Jophan Porter, 38, was charged with six counts of identity fraud Friday and is currently in Miami-Dade County jail. He also faces multiple counts of possessing stolen or fraudulent identification and forgery.
Porter assumed the identity of Anthony Frair, who lives in New York and claims not to know the man, authorities claim.
Authorities said Porter is from Guyana and is in the country illegally.

If this guy is somehow connected to Terrorist what's the over/under on how fast 0bama tells us that getting 2/3 of the country on Food Stamps was all an elaborate plan he devised to catch Al Qaeda members?
So he’s an illegal flight attendant for American Eagle?
That’s one airline I’ll make a point to never, ever fly for as long as I live.
I can only imagine how many US citizens applied for that job, but the airline goes out of its way to hire an illegal.
Many’s the time I found myself wishing *I* were Jophan Porter. Thanks txroadkill.
I guess this proves an illegal can get around the TSA background checks. This also proves the TSA has never captured a terrorist.
Who do you root for in this one? The illegal alien who steals someone’s identity to work for a living or the American citizen who discovers that his identity is stolen while applying for food stamps?
Give the job the the American guy.
Are you a commercial pilot?
Regards,
I suspect that the airline didn't have the faintest shimmer that he was an illegal alien.
Regards,
If they were under the gun of the Feds to hire more minorities under the Affirmative Action Program, it is quite possible they looked the other way regarding this guy’s citizenship or green card status. Affirmative Action is ruining this country in so many ways.
No, and I can’t believe I didn’t catch that before hitting post.
Thanks for pointing it out. I guess I need a sugar/caffeine high before posting on here, this way I can fix all my typos before posting.
Because no flags should have gone up when a native of Guyana showed up.
