People are free to speak whatever language they please, especially if they are deaf-mutes. However, we cannot allow state legislatures, lesser jurisdictions or government officials from any level create official documents, rules, regulations or laws in any language other than English. This would leave the citizen who is obligated to follow the law, and to obey regulations having the effect of laws, potentially unable to know what the law is.

But I might add, when the federal government makes laws and regulations having the weight of law, faster than any affected citizen can read them, they might as well be written in a foreign language.

If you really believe that, then the country needs an official language (which we don’t have); otherwise, I guess we have to suck it up...
