Palin was a very popular Governor. She stood up to the oil companies and the special interests.

But what happened?

The media ran her down and nobody defended her. McCain and Romney took shots at her behind the scenes. They attacked her kids.

That took a toll. They drove her popularity into a ditch. When people think of Palin they think "I can see Russia from my House" or Tina Fey.

I keep reading about how women don’t really care for Palin. This utterly mystifies me since I saw nothing BUT females (young, old, and in-between) in the crowds she draws.

Thanks for the clarification, my wife and the women I know all love her. I think this idea is oversold and overstoried just like the other lib (and RINO) talking points about her. I've met one GOP leaning woman(out of about 50 I've talked to about Palin), that doesn't like her.

I have heard liberal women however.......talk about hate and cattiness.........*shudders*

“Has Palin ever given a press conference?”

She was a Governor, so yeah....she did. Flunked Government class did we?

Lisa’s List of Stuff Sarah hasn’t done well is not nearly as long as Gov. Palin’s numerous achievements, of which Lisa makes little mention.

No mention of the large variety of advancements for Alaskans as their most popular Governor, nor the Mama Grizzlies she swept into office by endorsing them on her Facebook, nor the millions she raised for her endorsed candidates with her internet “money-bombs” and the hosts of issues she popularized many of which the Dems are yet trying to answer, nor that she has rewritten the way a politician deals with a hostile press, grabbing them by their scrawny necks and forcing them to cover her Sarah’s way.

Add to that the fact that she lives rent -free inside BO’s head and scares both Dem and GOP elites spit-less.

The question as I see it is, “who can stop Sarah if she runs.” No one draws the enthusiastic crowds she does. She has three time the numbers of FaceBook fans that Romney has. The attendees at Romney’s little barbeque Presidential candidacy announcement in New Hampshire could have all met in a local Burger King with room to spare. If Sarah hadda held such a poorly attended announcement the press would have called it a total flop for the paucity of support it demonstrated.

If Sarah wins the nomination, she will win the general.

From here

Lisa Fritsch is a wife, mother, and writer who is as compelling and provocative as she seems. Fritsch has a rare diversity on the national scene that is marketable for books, television, radio, and public appearances. Lisa is a Tea Party activist and speaker who has garnered national attention for her willingness to stand up to the NAACP for accusing the Tea Party as racist and for speaking out on the “diabolical” ways of liberalism on “Glenn Beck.” Fritsch is also a political strategist who is a frequent guest on “Your World with Neil Cavuto” where she has commented on everything from the GM IPO to the Tea Party platform. Lisa Fritsch is a member of the national advisory council for the Project 21 black leadership network, a think tank to advance the voices of black conservatives. Additionally she is a political contributor to her local Fox News 7.

Tina Fey said :" I CAN SEE RUSSIAN FROM MY HOUSE" and any conservative who claims that Palin said it, is a mordant idiot and no real conservative!

I don't pretend to speak for all Alaskans and neither should you!

I have been responding to this POS article; why don't you attempt to refute what I posted, instead of doing battle against Palin?

I’ve got no argument with you there at all my FRiend. Last I saw she was getting flamed by AT’s commenters.

Today AT ran a few pieces pro and con certain candidates (or potential candidates) so today was a different type day at AT. By definition, some of the articles would upset some of the readers today.

I think TL ran this piece because she has been a tea party speaker (though that seems strange to me). AT writers (myself included) were very very early to the Palin phenomenon, and most AT writers are very pro Palin (myself included there too).

The mission at AT is to present all the threads of conservative thought, which will include at least some pieces from the moderates. There are a few writers, including one of the founders, I rarely agree with - but it’s a good forum over all and I respect Thomas for running some things he does not agree with but thinks should be aired for public debate.

Thanks for your post.

Criticizing someone's looks is a big pet peeve of mine——it's so “middle school”.

I don’t see any blind adoration of anyone around here. What I do see is respect, admiration and appreciation for someone with morals and impeccable character, things that you rarely see in politicians these days. I see someone who has been unfairly and undeservedly beaten up by the media, so much so that they’ve twisted her into some sort of monster , in some peoples eyes , when it’s nothing further from the truth. It’s sickening enough to see this done by liberals in the MSM and on the internet, but it’s downright disgusting to come here at the most conservative site on the internet and have to read it here. That’s why we defend her here. We’ll defend her anywhere. There’s no cult. We believe in her and trust her.

“At least FR is a classy place that won’t just make comments on the author’s looks, but will make substantive, well-supported rebuttals of points.”

This from a consistent PDS’r that thinks liberal talking points on Palin are valid arguments. Give me a fkn break.
