What could Ron Paul HURT as President???..
With a republican House and Senate he couldnt do much damage..
Gutting the federal gov’t like a fish would have to be a good thing..
It may even TAKE someone like Ron Paul to pull it off...
There are so many excuses TO NOT limit and de-grade the federal government..
Actually I doubt that even RON PAUL could DO IT...
Getting rid of so many programs would have “them” screaming....
It will not be easy to cut the Federal Government.
But I trust Ron Paul to try.
We had Bushes in for 12 years, and they didn’t even try to cut the Federal Government. They both grew it.
Ron Paul as POTUS (laugh I thought I'd die) could and probably would:
1. Strip the military of any and all ability to project force on behalf of our nation and its interests. Its interests do NOT include cryogenic coma until the baaaaaad people just go away and leave the paleos alone.
2. As POTUS, Paulie would (not could but would) appoint social revolutionaries committed to babykilling and the destruction of marriage. They might require the selling of the lighthouses as tools of extraconstitutional behavior and maybe nukes and nuclear boomer subs and even tanks and rifles lest we might engage in purposeful foreign policy.
3. His libertoonian judges and justices would certainly ignore the ongoing slaughter of the innocent unborn while hiding behind the 10th Amendment to protect the SCOTUS in Roe vs. Wade and progeny which ignored the Tenth. If we keep abortion in place as the secular sacrament of liberals and libertarians (even those who SAY the right thing while doing nothing) on the books for another century and another 150 million sliced, diced and hamburgerized babies or so, then the nation (if by miracle it still exists) will forget what that old 1970s controversy was all about which would suit the moral cowards like paleopaulie just fine.
4. And likewise the phenomenon of Mr. Johnson ranging the old Hershey highway and confusing fudge-packing with marriage, with either taxpayer subsidy or cancellation of normal marital deductions and credits for the one man and one woman marriages (but I repeat myself).
Oh, and how could I forget??? As Commander in Chief, El Run would order the military personnel to stand down, turn in their weapons, form a circle around the old campfire, break out the Smores and marshmallows and spend the rest of their lives singing Kumbaya and love songs to our enemies.
